Featured Artist

Artist of the Month: ASHLEY CHAPMAN

Ashley Chapman & the Strays is a Nashville-based band led by drummer and singer Ashley Chapman, whose high-energy performances put rhythm front and center. Ashley played extensively in New York City and across the Northeast while studying at NYU, performing both with bands and as a drummer before eventually making the move to Nashville. The band’s name is a nod to the many stray animals Ashley rescued and rehomed after relocating. Since forming, the band has played venues throughout Nashville, the Northeast, and even Glasgow, Scotland. Known for an upbeat, feel-good live performance, they love playing for people ready to party, but Ashley especially loves it when families come to the show and their young daughters see that drums are for them, too.
