Artist of the Month: Liz Labelle

Liz Labelle was born and raised in Montreal, Canada, immersed in the rich mix of sounds that define the city—pop, rock, punk, and jazz. She studied music in college before quickly taking her artistry on the road, touring in support of her debut full-length album, Tanqueray Dreams. Along the way, she discovered Nashville, Tennessee, and made it her home base—a city whose creative energy continues to shape her evolving sound. When she’s not writing and recording original music, Liz channels her love of pop culture into the podcast The Sarcastic 4, where she and her friends dive into all things Star Wars, Harry Potter, and Marvel. She also lends her voice to AWEN, an AI sidekick featured on the YouTube series The Art of Figuring It Out. Liz brings authenticity and curiosity to everything she creates, building connections through both her music and her storytelling. Playing for TC leaves her feeling that her individuality is not only respected but truly embraced—it’s a community built by artists, for artists.
